Natural stone is acquired from local vendors and quarries. I have training in dry stack stone work and incorporate these concepts. There are many choices. I will guide you as to the best choices for a given location and the best care for the installed stone. Stone can be porous, hard, or soft all these factors can influence the longevity, durability and overall look. Stone gives texture and depth. Stone can be used to bring heat or light into an area. This can be quite useful for creating microclimates that will enhance plant growth. I use stone to disperse or collect water. It is my goal to keep as much water on a property and utilize the water in an optimum fashion.
Stone and pavers give structure as well as function to a design. They are used in a visual leading fashion and promote flow.
